FIVE TYPES OF SHOES EVERY WOMAN SHOULD OWN

Are you a stylist guru or do you search the fashion blogs and magazines to decide what to wear each day? Does style come effortlessly to you or do you need pointers from time to time?
Regardless of your answer to the above, I bet that you never had trouble choosing and buying shoes. Am I right, or am I right?

I think there is a gene somewhere in the female genome that’s over - expressed and it controls our need to have shoes. It’s a pity I couldn’t get my University professor to go along with my hypothesis. I so looked forward to getting my hands on the funding. Can you imagine having money to spend on buying shoes? As a job? And for research? I am telling you that was my dream job end of story!
If you could guess how many shoes you got what would your answer be? Take a wild guess! Do you own 20 pairs or shoes, 40, or more? You do know that you need to have the basics don’t you? Let me give you a course on what kind of shoes you should definitely have!
Boots
-         Flat
There is nothing best than wearing a nice comfy pair of flat boots. Either tall or ankle height, these are a must from day to night. Choose one that best suits your clothes. It will be your go-to shoe for sure.

-         Heels
There is definitely something sexy about a gal in a pair of high heels boots. They are timeless and the perfect choice for a night out!

-         Ankle
A wonderful choice for quick and easy to wear shoes. Perfect for busy moms and those of us who spend the whole day on our feet!

Pumps
-         Pointed
The all female shoe that has gotten a lot of controversy during these last years remains on the top of my list. You should only wear them if you like them. That’s common sense for me but I guess not for everybody. There are heels out there that are comfortable and don’t hurt your feet. Usually they cost more but your feet will thank you at the end of the day!

-         patent leather / metallics
Add a dash of sparkle to your feet and win the night! A bit of extravagance but after all, it’s really just a bit!

Sports
-         Sneakers
Walking, shopping, sightseeing, strolling in the park. That’s where to wear sneakers. And if you need them for work too, choose a pair with a twist or personality to wink at your co-workers.

-         Trainers
Get the best for the sport you do. Do you jog, play tennis, or basketball? Find the right one for you and change them often!
Sandals
-         Flat
This is the ultimate shoe for the whole summer. Choose a nice pair of handmade leather sandals and you can wear it from the beach to the night bar and be stylish!

White toe ring sandals

-         Strap Heels
One of the sexiest things a woman can wear. Show off your ankles and feet and knock them dead!!!

Ballet flats
The epitome of cuteness they can be your go-to shoe for a house visit or a tea party. Extra points if you can find a polka dot design you like!
So there you have it! How many of these are there in your closet? If you tell me yours I will tell you mine!

Also wanted to thank you for some new ideas. I don’t really know the first thing about shoes so this is great for future gift ideas.

I do love booties / ankle boots and trainers. My show style has changed so much over the years. I’m not that into heels anymore – unless they are heeled boots. I also like sandals. Great post! Thanks for sharing!

Honestly, I do not have a pair of pumps and sandals. I just do not have any outfit to go with it.

Totally agree with your choices, I have all types your mentioned minus the ballet flats just because they don’t suit me for me feet! But it’s a good idea to have at least a pair of each in the closet.

If there was any room in my wife’s closet for more shoes….. :)
